Why does my MARC screen look slightly blue or cooler in tone?

The LCD screens used in MARCs are standard RGB displays, and due to the natural behavior of the polarizer film, the screen may sometimes appear slightly cooler or “bluer” in tone.
This is completely normal, even laptop and tablet screens can show the same effect depending on angle, lighting, and polarizer characteristics.

Here’s what you need to know:

  • The cooler tone is a normal effect of LCD panel construction.
  • Our factory purchases screens in large, matched batches, so color tone is consistent across all units within your order.
  • Video and image playback will remain crisp, clear, and identical across all your MARCs.

Prefer a warmer color display?

If you’d like a warmer, more color-accurate screen, we can upgrade your MARCs to an IPS display, which provides:

✔ Wider viewing angles
✔ More accurate color reproduction
✔ A naturally warmer visual tone

(IPS screens are available upon request at an additional cost.)
