How to replace, upload, and organize videos and images on your MARC
Step-by-step instructions on how to connect your MARC to a computer, replace videos, update PNG files, and properly rename files to play in sequence.
You can also click HERE to download an example of seven video files and a CTA image.
Here’s how:
1. Connect the MARC to your computer
-
Use the included USB cable
-
The MARC will appear like a standard USB drive
-
Open the folder and locate the files named 1, 2, 3, etc.
2. Replacing or adding videos
-
Delete or replace existing video files. We recommend keeping at least one video on the device before adding the new ones.
-
Name your files in numerical order (1, 2, 3…)
-
The numbers determine the play order of the videos
Example:
1.mp4 → Plays first
2.mp4 → Plays second
3. Uploading the image
-
Find the folder named “Photo”
-
Replace the existing image with your own
-
Image must be 1024 × 600 pixels, PNG format recommended
4. Important notes
- Supported video format: MP4
- Image resolution: 1024 × 600 pixels
- Maximum file count: Based on memory size
- Cannot upload PPT files: Must be MP4 or PNG
- You have to keep at least one video on the device. Add the new video then delete the old one.
-
If video doesn't play, try re-encoding using Handbrake at 720p.
If you are uploading your own content
If you plan to self-upload media files, please let us know before production, especially if:
-
You are using a CTA button that triggers an image or video
-
You are using multiple video buttons
-
You are uploading a series of images
We will program the MARC correctly based on how your content will be used.
