How does the IoT module track engagement? Does it record button presses?

The MARC uses an internal IoT cellular module that sends basic telemetry data when the brochure is opened and closed.

We do not collect button presses specifically, but we do collect opens and closes. We stitch those together and report them as engagements.
This allows us to measure engagement, not user behavior.
